ANSYS CFD - Turbomachinery Flow Modeling

This course is for professionals interested in understanding the phenomena associated with turbomachinery flows, as well as the main characteristics of their computational modeling and appropriate use of these resources in the commercial ANSYS CFX software.

METHODOLOGY:

Face-to-face intensive training with ESSS specialists.


PROGRAM:

  • Generation / Import of blade geometries (BladeGen);
  • Computational mesh generation (ANSYS Meshing);
  • Definition of parameters for CFD analysis (CFX-TurboPre);
  • Simulation monitoring (CFX-Solver);
  • Post-processing and analysis of results (CFX-TurboPost).

Instructors/Teaching Staff:

  • Martin Poulsen Kessler, Dr.

    PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Currently works as a CFD Consultant for ESSS.

PREREQUISITES:

ANSYS CFX or ANSYS Fluent Introductory.

CERTIFICATE:

The student will have access to the certificate of participation issued by the ESSS Institute, with international recognition and validity. Develop a differential in your career. Study at the largest simulation school in South America
